For over 23 years Colin has worked within the energy sector and has accumulated extensive executive and and advisory services, business development, and commercial asset management. During his tenure at TXU’s Power & Energy Trading, Colin was responsible for the £2.2 Billion merger and acquisition, and its Initial Public Offering to acquire Hidrocantabrico, the fourth largest company of its kind in Spain. 

Coming from a Mathematics and Finance background, Colin successful career began in utility business before venturing into building and selling a start up advisory business offering procurement, asset management (Cleantech, CHPs PPAs) and sustainability services for end users. He first founded Encore International, a Third Party Intermediary within the energy sector with another partner, which he later sold via PE funding to M&C Energy in 2010.

At M&C Energy, Colin took on the helm as their Executive Commercial Director where he oversaw the pan-European sales and client expansion for the company. He became the Vice President of Business Development EMEA at Schneider Electric Energy and Sustainability when the former bought M&C Energy.

Throughout his career, he has been active in the energy market, providing consultancy services in various advisory roles. Some of the notable directorial positions that he has held include the Director of Westnewton and Watford Lodge a 20MWp UK wind farm development, the Managing Director of Right Energy Ventures Limited and the Director of VFinance.
